I often have conversations with Recruitment or Search Business Owners who complain that “they have to lower their fees”…

When I follow up with why…

I usually get answers like, “my clients won’t pay, my market buy based on price, my consultants won’t ask or don’t negotiate” etc…

Basically all things outside of their control…

But the truth is… The only thing keeping your fees lower than you deserve or lower than you want is YOU…

You decide what clients you invite into your business, you decide what market you operate in, you decide which consultants you hire, you determine how they behave once they’re part of your business and you decide to keep them on…

The only limitations on what fee you get for your Recruitment or Search services and on what terms… is you!

This is both good and bad news…

It’s bad news because it means you can no longer pass the blame…

But it’s good news because it means you can finally do something about it…
