Almost every time I go, he’s there!

I got talking to a guy in the gym yesterday…

I don’t know his name, but I feel like we’ve known each other for ages…

I go to the gym most mornings…

Usually around 5 or 6 times per week… It’s just part of my routine…

And me and this guy must be on the same schedule or something… Because almost every time I go, he’s there!

We don’t usually exchange any words, just a polite nod of acknowledgement…

Occasionally a thumbs up…

But yesterday we actually had a conversation for the first time…

And we got talking about his fitness routine…

How often he goes to the gym, what he does while he’s there, the impact it’s had on his life etc.…

Turns out…

Like me he workouts between 5 and 6 times per week,

He just does 30 minutes each time…

He’s 55 years old and probably fitter than most people half his age…

And it got me thinking…

I meet and speak to people every day who say they want to do or achieve something, but use lack of time as their excuse…

“I don’t have time to go to the gym”

“I don’t have time to market my Recruitment or Search Business”

It’s all the same… But the truth is, you make time for what’s important to you!

And secondly…

It highlights to the power of consistently taking action towards your goal…

If they guy just did 30 minutes once a week… Or an hour every now and then he’d achieve nothing…

But consistently doing small amounts regularly allows him to build on his progress each day…

The same is true for growing your Recruitment or Search Business…

Consistency is key to achieve results in any area of your life…
