What Are you Going To Do Though?

In between Christmas and New Years I had a phone call from a potential client enquiring about joining one of my programs…

Two things about this…

The first… This guy had been receiving emails from me for more than three years. Three years and he hadn’t bought any of my products, or even reached out to contact me directly, until now!

This isn’t unusual… There’s a whole load of people who have been on my list for months and even years, enjoy receiving my emails but who haven’t yet crossed the line to become a client…

What is unusual is the fact that I’ve continued to relentlessly follow up with them…

Most businesses, including the majority of Recruitment and Search Firms, would have given up after a few contacts and assumed that the prospect isn’t interested in buying…

They wouldn’t be completely wrong in thinking this because the prospect might not be interested in buying at that particular point in time… But it doesn’t mean they’ll NEVER be interested…

Not today, maybe not even tomorrow but one day in the near future, you could be exactly what they’re looking for…

They’re just not ready yet!

But if you stop following up with them and allow yourself to slip into the back of their minds, when they’re good and ready for your services, they’re going to end up buying from somebody else and not you…

The second thing is this…

He… Like so many other Recruitment and Search Firm owners sat down over the holidays and decided that this was going to be THE year…

2015 is going to be the year they finally get their act together, kick some serious butt and build the business they actually dream of, instead of settling for the mediocre business they’ve been stuck with for all the previous years…

The decision has been made…

But deciding isn’t enough… You have to actually DO something…

It’s not enough to just want things to be different this year… What are you actually going differently to do to make it happen?
