Time to pay the piper

Someone shared this with me a while back,

And it’s something I’ve been meaning to pass onto you for some time…

I’d be surprised if you haven’t heard of the pied piper story,

But just in case… Here’s the “wiki” version of the tale:

“The Pied Piper, the Rat-Catcher of Hamelin is the subject of a legend from the town of Hamelin, Lower Saxony, Germany, in the Middle Ages.

The earliest references describe a piper, dressed in multicoloured (“pied”) clothing, who was a rat-catcher hired by the town to lure rats away [1] with his magic pipe. When the citizens refuse to pay for this service, he retaliates by turning his power that he put in his instrument on their children, leading them away as he had the rats.”

I remember reading the story to my eldest son when he was growing up.

Looking back… Perhaps the tale of a weirdly dressed man, leading children away with his magic pipe wasn’t the best choice of bedtime story for a 4-year-old.

Anyway… The lesson for you comes in the last part of the story:

“When the citizens refuse to pay for this service, he retaliates by turning his power that he put in his instrument on their children, leading them away as he had the rats”

You see, this is where the term “Pay the Piper” comes!… It means no matter what, you’ll eventually have to pay the price.

A coach called Paul Mort who works with Personal Trainers and Nutritionists shared this with me in an email a while back, and it translates perfectly to you as a Recruitment or Search Firm Owner.

See, the reason most PEOPLE (not just Recruitment and Search Firm owners), don’t create a business that provides them with the money they want, the lifestyle they want and the freedom they want… Is because they aren’t willing to pay the price…

Here’s what I mean…

Success comes at a COST—->

Anything worth having comes at a cost….

You have to ‘pay a price’ in terms of:

Effort

Consistency

Investment of money into marketing

Time

Having people talk shit about you

Etc etc

And when it comes down to it.

Most Recruitment and Search Firm Owners aren’t WILLING to PAY THAT COST.

So they have to face the consequences!

The good news is, in the real world.

Those consequences don’t involve some pied piper leading your kids away …

The bad news is,

in the real world…

Those consequences WILL mean you stay as you are, your business sees little or no growth… Or worse, things start to decline…

Recruitment and Search Firm Owners that aren’t willing to ‘pay the piper’ first time around would be a terrible fit for every single one of my programs…

So if that sounds remotely like you, it’s best you avoid joining at all costs… …

But if you’re ready to step up, click this link and lets talk…

Take care, take action and be relentless,
